In this set of Makaton courses, there are four developmentally tiered levels to learning the language of Makaton. The first level can be undertaken as a sole course, but your team must have completed level one to progress their learning to levels 2-4.

Level 1:
In this first official workshop of Makaton training, your team will start their learning journey and will gain useful information about what Makaton is and how you can use it, as well as learning signs and symbols. Each person will receive an official online Makaton manual and certificate of attendance for this course level.
Level 2:
This is the second and follow-on course from level 1. You must have attended and completed level 1 prior to attending this training course. In this second Makaton course, your team will gain more in-depth information on Makaton as well as introducing more signs and symbols. Each person will receive an official Makaton online manual and certificate of attendance for this course level.
Level 3:
This is the third and follow-on course from levels 1 and 2. You must have attended and completed both level 1 and level 2 prior to this training workshop. In this third Makaton course, your team will gain further information about what was learnt in the previous workshops and introduce you to new vocabulary. Each person will receive an official Makaton online manual and certificate of attendance for this course level.
Level 4:
This is the fourth and follow-on course from level 1,2 and 3. You must have attended and completed levels 1-3 prior to this. This is the last “core vocabulary” workshop, so upon completion, your team will have learnt all of the core vocabulary signs and symbols and will be confident using your Makaton skills. Each person will receive an official Makaton online manual and certificate of attendance for this course level.
