Did you know funding might be available to cover the cost of your training?

There are different ways that you can fund your training with us:

Personal Health Budget

A personal health budget is an amount of money that is allocated to you based on your level of need and the amount of care and support that you require.

Your budget should include all aspects of your homecare, including costs to manage, employ and train your care team.

Social Care Direct Payment

Direct payments are available to children and adults who have a disability and have been assessed by social services as requiring support.

Your budget should include all costs to manage, employ and train your care team.

Self-Funding

If you don’t meet the criteria to receive a personal health budget or social care direct payment and you fund your own care, we are still able to support you. Please contact us to see how we can help.

Skills for Care Funding

Skills for Care is an independent registered charity, that can help fund your training. Skills for Care offers financial support periodically, which can be used to access our high-quality training opportunities.

You can apply for funding if:

  • You are aged 18 and over and employ your own Personal Assistants (PAs) OR contract with a Self-Employed PA
  • You are using your own money, adult social care direct payments or NHS Personal Health Budgets to fund your care and support
