Course Description:

This Medication Administration course is designed for people responsible for handling, administering, and disposing of medication within a care environment. The training focuses on enhancing knowledge and understanding of safe medication practices, covering key topics such as types of medication, routes of administration, the ‘7 R’s’ of medication handling, and how to prevent and document errors.

  • Recognise common errors in medication handling and how to prevent them
  • Gain confidence in completing accurate and compliant medication documentation
  • Develop a clear understanding of current regulations and legislation regarding medication handling
