Course Aims:
This Duty of Candour Training course is designed to help your staff develop the knowledge and understanding of the Duty of Candour to support them in their role as a health and social care worker. This training supports evidence for Health and Social Care Diplomas at levels 2-4.
The course begins by providing the learner with information around Duty of Candour, highlighting key areas such as accountability, statutory & professional duty, and how the CQC enforces and measures it.
The second module of this online training course looks at the requirements under the Duty of Candour, focusing on notifiable safety incidents (with examples), reporting, and providing reasonable support.
