Course Aims:

This Fire Safety course provides the underpinning knowledge and requirements needed to use effective fire safety procedures in the event of a fire. It is specifically designed for Health and Social Care Workers.

Training in fire safety is a legal requirement for health and social care workers. Therefore, this Fire Safety course is mandatory and should be completed before you start supporting vulnerable individuals in a professional capacity.

The course complements your employer’s Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety arrangements. It also aligns with practical on-site training and the implementation of appropriate policies and procedures. This course is suitable for care staff working in care homes or organizations where they are not required to work remotely in the community.

Guided Learning Hours: up to 2 hours, dependent on learner’s skills and abilities.
