Health and Safety for Supporting Children

Course Aims:

This course is designed to give an underpinning knowledge for health and safety practice when you are specifically working with children and young people. Learners should have completed other health and safety related courses as part of their mandatory training in health and social care, therefore this course will mainly cover the differences that need to be considered when supporting children.

This training applies to all health and social care workers that work in settings such as Care Homes, Hospital Wards, Day Centres, or supporting a child or young person in their own home.
