Medication Safety in Domiciliary Care

Course Aims:

In the course of their work, social care workers may support an individual with their medication.

As professionals, they have a ‘duty of care’ to ensure that every individual is supported with their medication safely and with no error.

Medication is a mandatory training subject that must be completed before supporting any vulnerable individual in a professional capacity.

This course is suitable for care staff working in domiciliary care where they have to work remotely in the community. It is also suitable for staff working in an Extra Care setting where a domiciliary care service is provided.
